Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on.

1. Plug the iPhone directly into the car via a USB cable and check whether Carplay is displayed on the car screen.

[[[6. How can I get my phone connected and use wireless CarPlay?]]]
1. First, please turn on CarPlay mode in your car and iPhone.
The car screen then asks you to plug in an Apple device to connect. Plugin the dongle and its Bluetooth will appear on the car interface. The dongle's light will remain red at this time.
2. Please turn on Bluetooth and wifi on your phone.
After plugging the device into the car's USB port, turn on Bluetooth and wifi on your phone. Then select the iPhone's Bluetooth signal on the car's screen to connect to the iPhone.The red light flashes, which indicates that the device is being connected.
3. Mobile phones are paired successfully and CarPlay is ready for use.
When the dongle finds the Bluetooth signal of the iPhone, the pairing information will pop up on the phone's screen. After the Bluetooth connect successfully, the iPhone will pop up a window, please click "Use CarPlay". Wifi is also automatically connected to the car at this time. The dongle light turns green.
4. Please keep your iPhone CarPlay in the "On" state until the device is successfully connected to your car.

1.Performance
Version 2.0 is with 5.8G HZ certification module, has higher adaptability for 98% of vehicle models.
3.0 is just the code name of a software update version. Currently, 2.0 and 3.0 are the same.
2. Appearance
Version 2.0 is with indicator light design, which 1.0 does not.
The cables and adapters of version 2.0 are detachable, while version 1.0 is integrated and undetachable.

- First, confirm whether the vehicle model and delivery date are in our compatible list (the compatible vehicle list is at the bottom of the product purchase home page)
- Wait a few minutes after inserting the product. The first identification will take you some minutes...
- If your friend or relative’s vehicle is on the compatibility list, you may consider borrowing their vehicle and then try again to connect Carplay with the borrowed compatible model;
- After successfully connecting to Carplay, enter 192.168.50.2 in the mobile browser to enter the maintenance interface. Try switching compatibility Mode to Compatible state, and then confirm whether the dongle can work normally in your own vehicle.

- Check if another third party USB extension is used. USB cables passing through another HUB or over 80 cm in length may cause the connection to be unstable and need to be removed before attempting to connect
- After successfully connecting to Carplay, enter 192.168.50.2 in the mobile browser to access the maintenance interface. Try switching compatibility Mode to Compatible state, and then try whether the device is working in your own vehicle;
- try to restore to factory settings
When the indicator is green after successfully connected. Open the mobile browser, enter 192.168.50.2, and click the reset button on the setting page to restore the factory settings.

- Try to switch to a more suitable sound effect mode (CD or DVD);
- Modify the media delay time, which is 1000 ms by default, and the adjustment range is 300-2000. The less the value, the more synchronized the sound and image. Adjustment is not recommended in case of no abnormality.

- If your phone doesn’t automatically connect to your device, open iPhone Wifi, connect to the device hotspot (the name of the hotspot is related to your car), and enter the password: 12345678.
- If Bluetooth also requires a password, the default password is 0000.
