For a little more than 2x’s the cost of a new lightening cable (which always seem to fail) I got this. Very discrete and nearly flawless operation. I did have one instance so far where the screen in my Ridgeline froze but even so I’ll take that over a cable anytime. I also have the corded model on my bike, CRF1100. It’s hidden under a panel and therefore less prone to theft. I like it too.
The box works great! I was able to watch live TV (IPTV is the best option) and use Netflix. There are a few apps (AppleTV / Spectrum) that can’t be properly accessed due to UI issues.

My 2018 Goldwing has Honda GPS Mapping but my Truck has had Car Play for a few years. The difference between the 2 mapping programs are like night and day . Needless to say I love Car play and thought I’d try it on the bike . It was the right decision . Interesting to note that Honda now uses CarPlay on its 2025 Goldwings .
I’ve had my Mini Ultra for a few weeks now, and I love it.
- It arrived in excellent, well protected packaging.
- The dongle is tiny! I knew it was going to be small, but I was still surprised how compact it looks in person.
- Installation was a snap. Instructions, while sparse, were clear. Plug in, pair with Bluetooth, connect to local WiFi. Done.
- CarPlay automatically connects within a few seconds of starting the car.
This has been, by far, my number one quality-of-life purchase for my car.

The Tesla CarPlay Adapter seems to be working. I really enjoy having Apple Carplay in the Tesla. I would recommend it to anyone driving a Tesla. I like the touch screen interface and playing Pandora.

Ive been looking for a way to have full android access from my OEM head unit. This thing delivered what competitors didn't. The UI is very responsive and the full size USB port lets you use accessories with it. The HDMI out is great. It hooked right in to my rear entertainment system so everyone can see what on screen. It even displays my android auto screen though HDMI. I could see it being useful for passengers to see where their driver is taking them too. You can also run the unit with only HDMI and use a mouse to control input. one of the biggest thing this unit does that competitors did not is pass the currently playing and steering wheel controls to my phones android auto when it is connected through the tbox.
I bought the Carlinkit 4.0 for my 2018 Lexus LC500. My car has CarPlay. Android Auto was not included in the LC until MY2021. I really didn't think this would work, but it does. For the money, it is a GREAT unit👍🏻 Hookup is very easy.
However, Carlink has an APK app to adjust the car's screen resolution, but there are only three choices. None of them give the optimum resolution for the screen on my LC. Two of them fill the screen but lose information on the top and bottom of the screen. The one that shows all the information (800xc400) leaves 40% of my screen blank. Carlinkit says there is no way to fix it❓
So far so good. Still playing around with it. The picture and sound is ahhmazing!!

I bought TBOX Ambient from the Carlinkit website and TBOX PLUS from AMAZON.
TBOX Ambient I am using with Pioneer DMH-ZF8550BT and TBOX PLUS with JBL Legend.
For TBOX Ambient -booting up is quick enough and the user interface is seamless.
But there are some cons for this set up.
1. The UI (user interface) is not much costamisable
2. Every time i switch off the ignition, and start again, I need to re set up the music player/usb list ETC..... and for short drives it is a painful job, suppose i was playing music from my USB with VLC player and I switch off the ignition and then........for restart where i stopped, its a **** of a job.
3.It does not sense the USB Bluetooth key board properly(I tried with LOGITECH)
4.Since I am using Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, it cannot cannect with Android Auto.

Mein Model S verbindet sich meist nicht selbstständig mit dem WLAN des T2C.
Wenn es sich dann doch das eine oder andere mal selbsttändig mit meinem Model S verbindet, kommt ewig der Einstellungsbildschirn, da es sich nicht mit meinem iPhone (14 Pro Max) verbindet.
Nichts desto trotz ist dies alles verschmerzter, da ich endlich wieder Apple CarPlay im Auto habe. und dies sogar Wireless.
Dies macht mich sehr glücklich!
Wenn in Zukunft die Defenzite per Firmware Update in den Griff bekommen werden können, habe wir hier ein Perfektes und Preiswertes Gerät um Wireless CarPlay auf jeden Webbrowser zu bekommen!

Works well, though a bit capricious. Needs to be rebooted regularly (uplug-replug, fast) when you re-enter your car, and gets disconnected when driving if your phone is out of network. But it does the job 95% of the time. I now have Waze, WhatsApp, GoogleMaps, Apple Music, etc. On my Tesla, for a very reasonable price. Thank you!

Installed my Carlink Kit with ExplorOz and everything was loaded up perfectly. Was my first time using an Android device and had to learn a few little tricks but everything was good.
I am so pleased with this device, despite the few issues I have mostly due to the infotainment system in my vehicle. The screed is hard to navigate, lots of mis-pressed buttons. The big thing is I hope these can get updated to 5G. I was able to use a Verizon 5G in the device even though it only connects at 4G. It seems there aren't as many 4G towers as there used to be. It drops out more then I wish. I have my OBD Bluetooth app running, my favorite equalizer and my favorite music player. I am able to keep it hidden away in my console and the GPS navigation still works fine. All in all I ma very happy with this purpose.
Experiencing like using TAB , expected better UI & clean Layout . Over all very good configuration 8gb RAM with this price range. Call connectivity is not happening using 4G LTE sim with device. GPS, maps and other media Apps are working very well. How service is providing in India later on please let me know, Having any service centre.
Received the order within six days of ordering. No additional taxes required to be paid. Quite small in size so it fits perfectly inside the wireless phone charging bay of my Toyota Legender 2024.
Very conveniently got connected. iPhone gets connected within few seconds. Observed no lag in sound, video or calls. No complaints till date.
