How can I get my phone connected and use wireless Carplay (first activation)?

For the U2W Plus dongle connection, please follow the steps below for product linking:

Steps 1. First, please ensure that CarPlay mode is enabled on both your car and iPhone.

When prompted on the car screen to connect an Apple device, plug in the dongle. You will see its Bluetooth appear on the car interface, while the dongle's light remains red.



Steps 2
. Please enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.

After plugging the device into the car's USB port, turn on Bluetooth and wifi on your phone. Then select the iPhone's Bluetooth signal on the car's screen to connect to the iPhone.The red light flashes, which indicates that the device is being connected.



Steps 3
Mobile phones are paired successfully and CarPlay is ready for use.

After plugging the device into the car's USB port, please ensure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on on your phone. Then, select the iPhone's Bluetooth signal on the car's screen to connect to the iPhone. The red light will flash, indicating that the device is being connected.


Steps 4
. Please keep your iPhone's CarPlay enabled until the device is successfully connected to your car. Ensure that both your car and iPhone's CarPlay are turned on and remain enabled until a successful connection is established.

To check the status, please go to Settings >> General >>CarPlay

Steps 5. Modify the "Region" setting in the "General" menu to enable CarPlay.

If you're unable to locate the "CarPlay" option in the "General" menu of your iPhone, you can reset the "Region" setting to reposition it accordingly.

Setting path is Settings>>General>>Language and Region>>Region

    Hola, he comprado vuestro dispositivo Carlinkit CPC200-U2W Plus y funciona bien con mi volkswagen tiguan del 2019 pero cuando lleva unos 5 minutos funcionando se desconecta y el solo se vuelve a conectar…. todo el rato hace lo mismo. Tengo otro Carlinkit instalado en otro vehículo volkswagen y ese funciona perfecto, pero el del tiguan que acabo de comprar no hay manera que se mantenga conectado sin desconectarse. Me podeis ayudar??

    Hi Josep,

    Please upgrade the box to the latest version.
    Please go to the box web backend and change the wireless settings to channel 149.
    Please go to the box web backend and set the video bitrate to 6 and frame rate to 0.
    Please go to the box web backend and set the video bitrate to either 2 or 4, and the frame rate to 20.
    All of the above solutions have been tried, but the issue still persists. Please try using an additional power supply cable.

    I have two dongles for two cars. Once I added the 2nd dongle to my iPhone 12, I have been having issues. Should there be an issue with 2 pairings on same phone as long as they are not in use at the same time? Hope you can help!

    Hi Craig,

    Yes, as long as they are not used simultaneously, there won’t be any issues with pairing. When you use one of the cars, you just need to manually connect the dongle’s Bluetooth.
