I have bought a carlinkit CPC200-CP2A , please advise if compatable with a Mitsubishi Triton ( Australia).
I have been using Apple CarPlay for years via usb cable.
But the new Carlinkit kit is not seen by the cars head unit. Red light comes on and I can connect direct to the new unit via wifi on the VW log in.
What step can I take to get the car to see the dongle?

The figure below is the connection method of CP2A for your reference.
You mean that the CP2A you bought can be connected and used in Volkswagen cars, but you can’t use CP2A in your car (Mitsubishi Triton (Australia)), right?

If your cars have factory-wired Android auto, and you are using an Andriod phone, then you can choose our CPC200 – A2A or Carlinkit 5.0

(edited)I have a Carlinkit 3.0 that works very well on my 2016 GMC Sierra with wired Apple Carplay. I just bought a 2023 Genesis GV80 with wired Apple Carplay and a Carlinkit 4.0. After installation that went as expected, the Carlinkit 4.0 initially performed well, but after driving for about 15 minutes, the connection to the Carlinkit 4.0 was lost. After about 10 minutes, the Carlinkit 4.0 reconnected and again performed normally before dropping out again. I tried my Carlinkit 3.0 from my 2016 GMC Sierra in the 2023 Genesis GV80 with the same result – disconnecting after about 15 minutes.
Any suggestions?

My car MB B-class (2016) and I confirm that there is information about Apple carplay on MBUX. However, it doesn’t recognize my iphone and Apple carplay does not show up on the screen when I plug my phone to car (USB-A, with tablet/phone mark). Does that mean I cannot use Carlinkit 3.0 dongle to activate Apple carplay?

2, restart the iPhone, and re-unplug the product.
3, iPhone connected to the product WiFi, Safari access 192.168.50.2, reset the product and then reconnect.
4, car screen, a product connection interface, long press the phone name to delete all connection records; iPhone Bluetooth list to delete the product connection records.
5, iPhone – Settings – General – CarPlay, delete all connection records

I ask this question because to enable carplay on my Android headunit, I first have to run the Tlink app and connect the iPhone to a designated USB port for carplay.
