Here’s how to upgrade the Carlinkit T2C in just a few easy steps:
1. Power on the T2C
Make sure the Carlinkit T2C is properly connected to your vehicle and powered on.
2. Wait for 30 Seconds
After powering on, allow the T2C to fully boot up. Within 30 seconds, the device will activate the Wi-Fi network for you to connect.
3. Connect to the Wi-Fi Network
Look for the Wi-Fi network named AutoKit_xxxx on your mobile device. The password to connect is 88888888.
4. Access the Upgrade Page
Open the browser on your mobile phone and enter 192.168.3.1 in the address bar. This will bring you to the firmware upgrade page.
5. Switch P2P Mode
Scroll to the footer of the webpage and click on "Switch P2P". At this point, the webpage will detect new firmware, but DO NOT click the update button yet.
6. Connect Directly to the Carlinkit T2C Wi-Fi
Now, go to your phone's Mobile Settings, then navigate to WLAN and select WLAN Direct Connect. Connect to the Carlinkit T2C Wi-Fi network (AutoKit_xxxx).
7. Start to Upgrade
Once connected, return to the webpage and click the "Update" button to begin the upgrade. This will ensure your Carlinkit T2C is up to date with the latest version.
