You will get the best experience if your screen supports the touchscreen function. For cars that are not touch screens, it will be better if you buy an extra Bluetooth mouse for connection, or its compatibility is not as high as that of touch screen cars.
Some Samsung mobile phones can not normally use Android Auto. This is because there are bugs in Google or Samsung's system, which need to be repaired by Google or Samsung. You can also call Samsung for details.
Some Lexus models only have a touchpad, which can only be used after purchasing a Bluetooth mouse.

It seems to work ok. It doesn't want to reconnect when I stop to go in a store for a little while and start to use android auto again. Also I am having trouble getting it to run off of my phone as a mobile hot spot. It worked for a few minutes and then stopped, tried to reconnect the hot spot and failed. I haven't tried since, I will try again as soon as I can get a little time to work with it.
