How can I reset and restore the factory settings of the product?

Sometimes the dongle will be unstable after a period of time, such as: audio and video being delayed; the connection is often dropped or the car's screen does not display...

For this kind of problem, the following solutions may help you

Restore steps:

1. Log in to the upgrade interface.
After the product is connected to the car successfully, please scan the QR code in the product manual with your mobile phone or input 192.168.50.2 in the mobile browser to log in to the product upgrade interface.

2. Log in to the product setting interface
At the bottom of the upgrade interface, there is a blue "Check for updates" button and a white Settings logo, please click the "Settings" logo to log in to the product setting interface.

3. Start the rollback procedure
Swiping down the page in the setting interface, finding the Rollback option, click the blue Roll back the version to 2021.07.05.2308button, and then the interface will pop up the message "Roll back the version to 2021.07.05.2308?" Please click "ok" to start the rollback procedure.

 


4. The rollback procedure is successful.
It takes a certain amount of time to roll back the version, please wait patiently. After the rollback is successful, you need to re-connect the dongle and the car like the first time you do.

Reset steps:

1. You can scan the QR code on the product's manual and input 192.168.50.2 in your mobile browser to log in to the backend



2. Click the Settings button on the page, and then click the Reset button in the upper left corner of the Settings page.

Hi

I bought a 3.0 mini product via Amazon a couple of weeks ago.
The product worked well for a week or so. However after that, it stops working again.
Several connectivity issues, no connection at all, etc.
I tried everything on your support page, but again nothing happened. Cannot reach settings page even I connect the device via WiFi.

I think the product has connection issues. Hope it is not because of HW.

I have sent an e mail to your support address several days ago with photos and a video, btw.

Hi Patrick,

Please plug the dongle into the wall charger or plug it in to the car, once the red light is on, connect the dongle’s wifi with your phone , then input 192.168.50.2 in your phone browser to log in the backend.

Then you can reset the box.

The WiFi name of our product starts with car’s English or VOLK, and the password is 12345678.
Try to see if you can access the background interface.
If you can access the URL successfully, then reset the box.

Hi, i can’t reset my device. Cos, i can’t reach 192.168.50.2 web site. My phone is not connecting to my device (carlinkit cpc200-u2w-plus). I also tried it on different phones. The red light is constantly on. When I connect my phone to the device with a cable, it works with a wired connection. But the wireless connection is not working. I can sometimes see the device in the wi-fi settings from my phone. But it disappears very soon.
What should i do ? Thanks…

This is noce, but I don’t have the product manual anymore for my Carlink 4. So I can’t scan a QR code. I have an andriod phone, not an iphone. When I enter 192.168.50.2 into the browser on my phone a get an error message saying the site is unreachable. Very disappointed with your product so far. My problems connecting to my 2020 Ford F150 from my Samsung S21.

Dear, i bought a Carlinkit4 and i’m facing a problem. since today, when i try to start it, i get on my car screen the normal picutre with the "loading page, but instead of have the “car name” as before, i have 3 dots (…), i can’t clik on the bottom right on the setting option, then after few seconds, i get a new screen HARDWARE ERROR: Wifi-BT. the problem is that i ca’nt access anyumore the “interface webpage” 192.168.50.2 to try to restore the tool with factory settings.

I cannot connect with iPhones (7 and SE) after upgrading to the firmware ver.2022.01.24.1903.
I bought Carlinkit 3.0 through Carlinkit Direct store in AliExpress on Feb.6, 2022. Initially it works fine, but after I used for 1 month, connection with iPhones became worse. It repeated disconnect and reconnect during driving.
In order to recover the situation, I upgraded the firmware on Apr.16th.. However situation became even worse. Finally I cannot connect iPhones at all. Since I lost connection, I’m unable to do even rollback.
Please help to support recovery. Thank you

I was having connection issues and tried to reset the carlinkit-II to factory settings, after I went to the menu 192.168.50.2 it told me there was updates… after the third update the dongle bricked… locked up….
