This device is fast and easy to connect, but sometimes you have to restart the device because it doesn't boot up properly or doesn't connect. (Newest Firmware)

Bought this after watching YouTube videos. When I received the cellophane wrapping was just laying in the package with the box, so i felt like maybe i was sent a used device. Opened the box and it all seemed to be correct and looked new.
When i finally got around to installing it was not quite as easy as the videos made it look and the instruction book is such small writing that I struggled with that. It seemed that the instructions were not step by step. It did load write up on the screen but the screen prompts, or lack there of did not match the book.
When i did finally get it to work the picture was great and connected quickly. I set this up in my garage so decide to go drive around the block in the sunlight. Picture was still good but then it stopped. Appears i had connected to my WiFi and not my phone. After messing around with it out in the street for a little bit i finally got it to BT to my phone. I am. Still unable to figure out how to get it to hook up to my hotspot on my phone vs BT. I am running a 2024 Toyota Tundra Platinum with the 14 in infotainment. I can’t tell about open road use yet, that remains to be seen.
Overall happy with it.

Plug and play super easy and works great

It seems to work ok. It doesn't want to reconnect when I stop to go in a store for a little while and start to use android auto again. Also I am having trouble getting it to run off of my phone as a mobile hot spot. It worked for a few minutes and then stopped, tried to reconnect the hot spot and failed. I haven't tried since, I will try again as soon as I can get a little time to work with it.

Its a no brainer, plug and play, no issues, I can highly recommend your products!

I can now be hands.free in the car.

Carlinkit Tbox Max Android 13.0 Wireless Carplay Multimedia Video Box

Works perfect, I’ve added SIM card to it so don’t have to hot spot to phone everytime you get in car. Much better with sim.

I like this box a lot, however I have to say that the interface is dated and the split screen function is pretty clunky when you can actually find two apps that are compatible. I also have a 512 GB w 190 MB read speed and the memory is still laggy to the point that using a video plater app other than YouTube hasn’t worked for me. It’s still worth the money, but it can definitely be improved with some software updates.

I got the Carlinkit 5.0 a week ago, and so far, it has worked great. I get into my car and it is connected to my phone within 10 seconds. I have a 2023 CX-30 and a Samsung Galaxy S21. I was worried that it would have some lag, as I have read that that can be an issue, but so far, it is not noticeable.

it takes about a minute to boot up once you're in the car and it autoconnects works seamlessly. Only downside is the Tesla nav and voice commands don't work well, when this is on.

I use this in my 2019 Q& and It's Great. Connects Very fast No Issues so far!

It disconnects occasionally but I'm not sure if it's the phones wifi/Bluetooth or the devices. I would recommend and continue to use. A must have for Uber and Lyft drivers.

Carlinkit 5.0 (2air): Upgrade Your Car to Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

Bought this because the wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in my 2023 Forester Sport frequently dropped the connection. The Carlinkit 5.0 works seamlessly with my iPhone, all the wife had to do was load the Android Auto app on her Samsung. Alongside an Auto Stop/Start Eliminator module, this is a must have for the current generation Forester.

It works perfectly on my 2019 Toyota Camry with Android Auto/CarPlay wireless. My Camry doesn't have android auto and with Carin kit works perfectly.

Installed in a 2020 Subaru Forester with no problems linking it to the car. I did not do any updates, just installed right out of the box and it works great. Takes about 10 to 15 seconds to connect to the car.

Installation is simple and the device does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Hopefully this will remain so with possible future updates!

A quick tip: If the smartphone is already connected to the car, delete this connection and then connect to Carlinkit 5.0 (2air) first, after which a connection to the car itself will be established again.
As a result connection itself with the used smartphone is now stable and also all apps run more stable in CarPlay and Android Auto.
