Browser support is required.

Tips:
T2C is only suitable for Tesla model cars. You can use it with or without a SIM card. If you insert a SIM card (iPhone eSIM card also works), the SIM Card only consumes a small amount of data, navigation, music, and other applications that use the mobile phone's traffic and does not use the T2C'SIM card traffic.
The following countries and regions cannot use our T2C products: Taiwan, Hong Kong,and Australia.
When using Carlinkit T2C in Israel, if there is a situation where the box WiFi cannot be found by both the mobile phone and the car (the reason is Israel only supports channels 36-44, and the T2C box defaults to 149).

I wanted to get Sirius/XM and Google Maps through CarPlay to my Tesla Model Y and this did the trick... Though S/XM is frustrating in that the phone app allows you to select Favorite channels, but even with the app running in the phone, they don't appear on the Tesla screen. And there's no way to go directly to a channel or select a Favorite from the car screen. You can select a song but nothing ever shows up under Favorites. The web connection seems to randomly die, as well, like after a text, or something, but it's not that big a deal. Overall, it's great to have GMaps and S/XM, even if it's not perfect. Would buy this device again and have recommended it to others.

The device works and was super simple to setup
The only reason I give it less than 5 stars isn’t about the product or the installation and setup because those all deserve 5 stars. The reason is really due to the lack of documentation around some of the issues that I’ve run into. When I am at home and leave with this in, it doesn’t seem to work properly. I think this is due to my car connecting to my home wifi and not the device so it doesn’t have a connection. At least that’s my assumption as it doesn’t happen anywhere else. I want it to connect to my home wifi so I can download updates so I assume that I just have to deal with it.

T2C Experience
A few days ago, I would have given the T2C one or two stars. I kept having constant connection problems. No matter what I tried to resolve the problem, nothing worked. Then I noticed a number of posts from people who said their problems began with IOS 17. I opted to download IOS 17.1 beta. Since that download ( 3 days now), I’ve had no connection problems and love having the ability to use Carplay once again. I live in an area where there is widespread use of speed cameras. Hence I like to use Waze which is not available natively on my Tesla.

Works well. Setup was pretty straightforward. Just watched a YouTube video on it. Only issue I occasionally have, is with wifi activation after a startup, once I turn activate wifi again it works after that. Overall worth buying if you miss your CarPlay. Nice to get Waze and the rest of my apps back! Good value for moment as well at ~$80.

I have tried many ways/products to get Apple Play mainly for Waze with no success until I bought the car link car play. It was easy to install & turn off as needed.
