What should I do if U2W Plus (Carlinkit 3.0/ 4.0) frequently disconnects?

Issue 1: U2W Plus/CP2A disconnect very often.

Please try the following methods separately:

1. Please upgrade the box to the latest version by following the steps provided in this link:

(A2A/ CarlinKit 3.0/4.0) UPGRADE FIRMWARE ONLINE.

2. Go to the backend webpage of the box at 192.168.50.2 and change the Wi-Fi band to 149 in the settings.

3. Please access 192.168.50.2 and set the video bitrate to 6 and the frame rate to 0 in the settings.

4. Please access 192.168.50.2 and set the video bitrate to 2 or 4 and the frame rate to 20 in the settings.

5. If you have tried the above solutions but the problem still persists, please try using a cable to add power.

Issue 2: Carlinkit 3.0 keeps crashing.

The Carlinkit 3.0 starts ok, and then it just becomes laggy and cannot put any inputs in. Eventually, it just crashes and stops, I have to then unplug and re plug, then it works again but finally the same thing happens and crashes again.

Solution: 

1. Please access product backend 192.168.50.2 to modify the Frame rate to 20

2. Please modify the Video Bit Rate to 2 or 4 please try both numbers.
