Activating CarPlay on your Audi Q5 depends on the model year:2023 and newer:
- Make sure your iPhone is running iOS 13 or later. And turn on Bluetooth.
- Start your car and put it in neutral.
- Press the Menu button on the vehicle audio system.
- Select "Smartphone Interface" and then "Apple CarPlay".
- A pop-up window will appear on your iPhone asking you to allow CarPlay, click "Allow".
Your iPhone will automatically connect to your car and CarPlay will launch on the infotainment screen.
2022 and earlier models (2022-2018):
- Make sure your iPhone is running iOS 10 or later. And turn on Bluetooth.
- Start your car and put it in neutral.
- Connect iPhone to the USB port marked with CarPlay.
- CarPlay will automatically launch on the infotainment screen.
